Important- Fabric
Colors
+ Will my table skirt colors match my tablecloth colors?
Our tablecloth fabric may come from different bolts of material than our table skirts. For this reason, the shades of colors may not be an exact match. For example, a navy blue table skirt may be a slightly different shade of navy from our navy blue tablecloths.
We strongly recommend using table toppers with our table skirts if you're covering the tops of your tables (rather than a tablecloth), as these are made from the same bolt of fabric and will be an better match.
If you have any doubts, please contact us for a color swatch.
Table Skirting
+ What is the difference between Poly Linen and Poly Silk?
Poly Linen skirts are the highest quality skirting in the industry. Because they are a heavier weight material, they are used primarily when skirting is used often and in more formal occasions. They are heavier than our Poly Silk skirt line and have the look of fine linen.
Poly Silk skirts have a high sheen with the look of silk and are a less expensive alternative to our Poly Linen skirt line, and are used when skirting is not needed as often as well as in less formal situations. They are lighter weight than the Poly Linen skirts.
+ What about Box Pleat table skirts?
Our premium Box Pleat table skirts are the most formal skirts money can buy. Our other two skirting lines (Poly Linen and Poly Silk) have shirred pleats, which are less formal than the box pleat alternative.
+ So, which skirt type is right for me?
Poly Linen skirts are usually used in upscale hotels, convention centers, catering companies, wedding reception centers, dining establishments, and resorts.
Poly Silk skirts are often used by trade shows, businesses holding meetings, schools/colleges/universities, places of worship, and other situations in which skirting is not needed as often.
Box Pleat skirts are used in the most formal situations, including wedding receptions and ceremonies, formal/fine dining establishments, and the like.
The skirt type that you choose is ultimately based on the situation that it will be used for, and we're proud to offer three lines to meet your needs.
+ How do I properly care for my skirting?
Our skirts are of the most premium quality, and are capable of lasting YEARS if properly cared for. To help ensure long lasting durability, we recommend following the care instructions below:
1) Separate like colors and machine wash in cold water. 2) Add detergent, if desired, to the water before adding the fabric. 3) Only use mild detergent, such as Ivory Snow. 3) After washing, skirts may be placed in a clothes dryer on the air only setting. 4) Remove promptly from the dryer to reduce wrinkling. 5) Skirts may be ironed using the cool setting.
Tips: Never use strong detergents or apply detergents directly to the fabric. Never use bleach. Do not expose the skirt to high heat above 140 degrees.
We also recommend hanging your skirting on our table skirt hangers after drying to help keep them as safe as possible.
Table Skirt Clips
+ What are table skirting and tablecloth clips?
All of our table skirting is Velcro-backed, meaning that there is a strip of soft Velcro lining the entire top portion of the backside of the skirt. To ensure that your skirts are properly secured to your tables, Velcro table skirting clips (with a strip of rough Velcro on them) are needed.
For customers looking to clamp down tablecloths during outdoor events, we also offer tablecloth clips that do not have a strip of Velcro on them. We sell a variety of clip sizes and amounts with multiple quantity discounts available.
+ How do I use them?
We recommend using one clip for every foot of skirting draping your table edges. This ensures that your skirts will hang properly and securely to your table.
Once you have placed your clips around the edges of your table, line up the Velcro strip on the skirting and press firmly to attach.
For tablecloth clips (without the Velcro strips), first place your table linen on your table and then use the clips to clamp the linen down and keep it in place during outdoor events.
Tablecloths
+ How do I choose the right tablecloth size?
For many customers, this can be the hardest part of choosing the perfect tablecloth. Luckily we've eliminated the guess work involved in this process! Measure your table's length and width (or diameter if it's round) and use our handy Tablecloth Size Calculator (located at the top left of the site underneath our website header). If you still aren't sure, our customer service representatives are standing by to help. Visit the Contact Us page and choose how you would like to reach us.
+ How are your tablecloths different from others?
The quality of our tablecloths differs greatly from many of our competitors. All of the sizes featured on our site are seamless for the most attractive look to your tables. Many other companies carry seamless sizes up to certain widths before having to sew "panels" onto the main piece to expand the size. Also, our tablecloths are heavier than most others being sold online. On average, ours can be up to 50 g/m2 thicker than our competiton. This makes for a more durable tablecloth.
Besides being seamless and durable, our tablecloths are also wrinkle and stain resistant, as well as machine washable for easy cleaning. They have been carefully designed to withstand heavy use over long periods of time. This means you won't have to replace your tablecloths nearly as often compared to many other companies.
+ What if I don't see the size or color that I need?
You're in luck! We can make nearly any size tablecloth in over 64 vibrant colors (with a 5 piece minimum). Please call us Toll-Free (866) 587-4369 or email us at sales@tableskirtingclip.com for details and pricing.
+ How do I properly launder my tablecloths?
To properly launder your tablecloths while ensuring proper function and maximum durability, we recommend following the guidelines below:
WHITE tablecloths can be treated with bleaching agents to remove heavy stains. They should be washed as soon as possible to prevent permanent stains. Tablecloths can be dried, but should be removed from the dryer while still warm in order to minimize wrinkles. Then fold and store or put to use right away.
Water should not exceed 150°F. Drying should be less than 180°F. Drying at higher heat than this may cause the linen to be shocked and cause permanent wrinkles. We recommend not using laundromat dryers as they are usually too hot. Ironing (if desired) should be less than 320°F.
Chair Covers and
Sashes
+ What's the difference between the folding and banquet chair cover?
Our folding chair covers fit standard size metal folding chairs, while our banquet chair covers are designed for standard size banquet chairs. Each product page has a description of the chair size and an option to view a photo representation.
Napkins
+ What is the best napkin size for my event?
We offer two sizes for our napkins, 17"x17" and 20"x20". The 17" size is perfect for less formal occasions, home use, and luncheons. The 20" size is ideal for more formal occasions such as dinners or formal luncheons.
